Our beloved Debra Beth (King) Goode passed away Monday, December 7, 2015, in San Antonio, at the age of 63 years. She was born in San Antonio on November 19, 1952, to Melvin and Vera Caffall King, who preceded her in death.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 34 years, Keith Goode, and daughters Melissa Golsch and her husband Kirk, Carrie Lyons and her husband Brendan, and Jenny Freid and her husband Scott, and her ten grandchildren, Addison, Parker, Hallie, Jackson, Camryn, Kendall, Nicholas, Preslie, Bryce, and Spencer. Additionally, she is survived by her sisters, Lynda Ball, Karen Zickler and husband Russell, and Marta Rose, all of Bandera, Texas, and a large, loving family of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and her golden retriever, Tucker.

Debra lived a life full of hobbies and interests. Her love of music began at an early age. She became an accomplished pianist, and enjoyed playing the piano and singing in the choir at Bandera United Methodist Church, as well as with her family. Debra loved being outdoors, and some of her greatest passions were gardening, painting, and laughing with friends and family on the patio. Lastly, Debra had a special fondness of travel and she treasured the trips she took with her friends and family.

In recent years, Debra's grandbabies were the light of her life. She had a unique relationship with each of them, and found a way to make each of them feel special. She loved them with a passion, which they reciprocated equally.

We love her and will miss Debra dearly. She was a great listener and loyal friend, full of insight and always there when you needed a shoulder to lean on. Debra's strength knew no bounds, and she fought her diagnosis with courage, grace and faith.
