Tana Miller

Honorary Membership (2022)
West Texas A&M University

Tana Miller retired from West Texas A&M University in April 2022 after more than 35 years at her alma mater. At that time she was serving as Assistant Vice President for Student Enrollment, Engagement & Success and as TACRAO Vice President of Records and Registration.

Her career began in Admissions where she first worked as an Admissions Counselor moving up to Associate Director over time. She then became the University Registrar where she served for approximately 15 years. Additional time was spent working in student affairs and academic advising but her first love was always for her enrollment management positions.

Tana was active in TACRAO as a session facilitator and presenter, as a member of the local arrangements committee for Lubbock, as well as both a member and chair of various standing and session planning committees. Tana is also one of approximately 50 graduates of the AACRAO Strategic Enrollment Management Endorsement Program.

When she has free time, she loves to read, garden and paint. Her preferred mediums are acrylic and watercolor. She is involved in the community through Lions Club and church. She enjoys travel and is excited to go to Scotland this coming spring to visit places where her family came from.

You can now find Tana supporting colleges and universities across North America as a Senior Colleague student system Consultant for Ellucian.
